What is Digital Citizenship?

Digital Citizenship (DC), also known as digital ethics or digital wellness, is the act of behaving appropriately and respectfully when using all types of technology. Today's society is very much tech-centered; therefore, it is essential to educate young minds about how to act in an online setting. Most recently, the BYOD (Bring Your Own Device) and 1:1 initiatives have expanded the need for Digital Citizenship education.
